Akinkoye Akinseye (born March 6th , 1992), better known by his stage name DE MAGNUS, is a young talented Nigerian rapper and singer. He was born in Minna, Niger, state Nigeria, he hails from Ondo State. He grew up in Niger state, during this period he was opportuned to be around many musically inclined people, at age 13 he started rapping in a group called Steppy G's where he gained a lot accolades from youths in Minna after releasing their singles (STROM IS OVER AND MAMA) at that time the group was doing good for themselves and the group went on to win a plethora of talent shows in and around Niger State,Nigeria garnering an ever increasing fan base…

After his high school, he relocated to Malaysia where he came in contact with musically inclined folks who helped him in developing his musical abilities..

De Magnus later moved to Ukraine where he started to build his strong Fan base.. Later that year he won the best artiste award in Kharkov city Ukraine and latter bagged other awards to his name.

He has Now signed a recording deal under GLORY MUSIC GROUP (GMG) where he promised to take his talent and his musically abilities to the world at large..

DE MAGNUS is influenced by the likes of LIL WAYNE, JAY-Z, VECTOR, ICE PRINCE, MKG SAUCE KID to mention a few. His music is a cross cut between Hip-Hop, Rap and Africa Folk Music.
