Recently LL Cool J thawrted a robbery after an intruder broke into his home.
According to TMZ , the suspect entered his Los Angeles, California residence at 2 a.m. LL, who was in the home at the time, heard some commotion coming from downstairs and decided to check it out.
The burglar tripped the alarm system, altering the cops, but LL took matters into his own hands by engaging in a brawl. LL detained the intruder until the LAPD arrived a few minutes later to arrest him.

The intruder will be charged with burglarly and ended up with a few bruises, while LL remained unscathed.

It’s a few days before the much talked about seventh edition of The Future Awards and Central Working Committee (CWC) has unveiled the shortlist of 5 people per category for the August 26 event!

Finalists and winners of each category will be unveiled at The Future Awards 2012 this weekend, where the keynote speaker is one of Africa’s most influential entrepreneurs and former Group Chief Executive Officer of United Bank for Africa Plc, Tony Elumelu.

Members of the Independent Audit Committee include TV host Mo Abudu, external relations director of the Nigeria LNG, Siene Alwell-Brown, politician Jimi Agbaje, Stanbic IBTC director Yemi Osindero, LEAP Africa founder Ndidi Nwunelia mongst others.

The Future Awards 2012 is hosted by the Rivers State Government.

We are sure many are asking and very curious to know. We heard that the prolific producer and CEO of Mavin Records and former label mate of D-Banj heeded the good call to help a follow citizen, in the person of Funmilayo Lawal, the Unilag Law undergraduate, who we had earlier informed you all needed help to stop the spread of a Shoulder cancer (Malignant Sarcoma).

I don't really count myself a fan of bollywood movies over 2 and a half hours long, basically cause that's a long time. But it certainly helps if its a fun movie. So yes am a fan of this movie, couldn't stop laughing...

The smoke (Marijuana) must have been second to none or why else, would the Hip-Hop star known to all before his Jamaican visit as SNOOP to the D.O.G.G now all of a sudden have an epiphany and decide to change his name to Snoop LION? 

According to Snoop, he has just discovered that he is the reincarnated Bob Nesta Marley, the late reggae king. So henceforth his new name  is SNOOP LION and not just that he has also fully embraced reggae and the culture. He got 'Born Again' according to himself after a visit to Jamaica in February of 2012. So from now on it would be good music that kids and grandparents can listen too. By the way, what's that you are smoking Snoop? Must be very strong...
