Deji Adeleke, who is the chairman of Keplo-Pacific Energy Pacific. A company which is into Banking, steel, power and energy. Davido’s father is also the founder and pro-chancellor of Adeleke University, Ede, Osun State. Not forgetting that the singer’s uncle is Senator Isiaka Adeleke, former Osun State Governor. hmmmmm
It is now apparent that P-Square made the right move by signing May D to their Square Records imprint. Just a week or so ago, May D dropped his video for Soundtrack and majority of the lurkers on the site had to leave comments stating their acceptance for May D’s music.Here is his new single, Ile Ijo which is another catchy track all through.
I will say one thing, since we posted May D’s first single, Fo Mi Lori from before the Square records era, I knew it was just a matter of time before he hits limelight. I think it’s shine time from here on out for May D.

Guys this is a tough one. so we decided we would let you decide.

A new innovation was added to the celebration of carnival with the
introduction of the junior carnival. Primary and Secondary schools on
Lagos Island are invited to send students to represent their schools at
the junior carnival. The procession usually kicks off at the Tafawa Balewa Square. Some floats then proceed along Awolowo Road up to Falomo Roundabout and back to Tafawa Balewa Square. Another kick off point is Campos Square on Lagos Island. Celebrants parade down Igbosere Road, Broad Street, Catholic Mission Street, Marina Street and on to Tafawa Balewa Square. Some floats go through Ozumba Mbadiwe Road and Ahmadu Bello Way on Victoria Island on their way to the Tafawa Balewa Square.
The Lagos Carnival 2012 took place on Easter Monday, 9th of April 2012 from 10am till 6pm. Admission into the Tafawa Balewa Square was free. Admission to the VIP stands is strictly by invitation. I However, BRT buses will be provided to convey members of the public to the TBS for free. Focal points for this year's carnival included Tafawa Balewa Square, Campos Square and Giwa Barracks (Kingsway Road) Ikoyi. Sponsors of the Lagos Carnival 2012 include MTN, Maltina Eko Hotel and Ecobank. Performing at the Tafawa Balewa Square this year were musicians such as 9ice, WhizKid and Eldee.
