I could hardly believe it when I heard the news today...

Trying my best to gather myself together as I write this but this is worse than that type of news that drives away the want for food from an entire household...

Its hard to be composed after someone so full of life, daring and ... Just read the tribute here

One of my all time fashionable men in sports if not my all time favourite has got to be David Beckham... He just seems to be able to put together simple and yet sophisticated looks all the time... Crowning it with a smile, he makes it all seem so easy.

Here David Beckham attends the Victoria Beckham Spring 2013 presentation during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week at New York Public Library on September 9, 2012 in New York City.

The journey hasn't been bad for the Mavins after D'banj as the members all dropped one or two songs that did well 'in a class of their own' in 2012.
2013 started filled with promises, and now twitter has given the Mavins their first gift of the year, and the Mavin boss Don Jazzy shared the news via Instagram with the message, "So twitter paid the mavins a visit. And the blue tick was in the goody bag. Osheee. @wandecoal @dprincemavin @iamdrsid @tiwasavage #MAVINS #FRENZY #2013 #PoP #imgoingtobed love always."

I can't find the blue tick on their pages yet from old computer, but if the boss says they are, then they are.

Verified Mavins!

Pop singer Lady Gaga recently purchased 55 items once belonging to Michael Jackson at an auction in Beverly Hills, Calif. But is the "Born This Way" singer actually eyeing a much bigger Jacko prize? Rumors published by the Sun, NME and the Huffington Post, say Gaga plans to buy Jackson's 3,000-acre Neverland Ranch in Santa Barbara County, Calif. and return it to its former glory.

Gaga has reportedly become good friends with Jackson's sister Latoya, and the reason she wants to purchase Neverland is supposedly so it can be preserved for Jackson's three children. "His kids are all desperate to hold on to their childhood home so they can decide what they want to do with it properly when they've grown up," the Sun quotes an anonymous source as saying.

Jackson bought the sprawling ranch in 1988 and named it after Neverland from the story of Peter Pan -- a magical land where boys never grow up. He built a railroad track, a petting zoo and carnival rides. But later, as he became embroiled in financial troubles, the ranch fell into disrepair and was eventually sold to investment group Sycamore Valley Ranch Company, though Jackson's three children and mother Katherine still hold a share of it. If Gaga were to purchase the ranch she would likely have to shell out tens of millions of dollars to both purchase and renovate the dilapidated estate.

More and more Nigerian celebrities are starting the year 2013 on a good note. Funke Akindele started off the year with a multi-million naira deal with Jobberman, Terry G got a Range Rover Sport SUV for himself, while K-Solo spent over N7million on a new Jeep.

This time, it is Monalisa Chinda that is starting the new year with the launch of her own line of beauty products called M-Code.

While unveiling M-Code recently, she was reportedly quoted to have said, "We are starting with the body sprays for men and women, after which other beauty products from my M-Code stable will be introduced into the market.

"It is going to be a very busy year for me and my team. We have several activities and programmes for 2013, you just watch and see."

Another way to make more money apart from her Glo ambassadorial deal? Hmm, smart Port Harcourt babe that thinks like an Igbo man.
Hottest Ghana actress, Yvonne Nelson is, no doubt, one woman who has come to stay in the industry. The beautiful, tall and talented actress has just confirmed that she's into a relationship. She revealed recently in an interview that she is so committed to the relationship and she is happy about it. Inyanya, the Nigerian artiste has been linked romantically with her and she just put the record straight.

"Yes I am into a relationship and I am happy. I am like Iyanya's biggest fan. I love his music. I have his music on my iPod, iPad, Blackberry and iPhone. We are just good. He is a very special person to me," Yvonne said.

Though, she failed to state categorically if Inyanya, the Kukere crooner, is the one she is romancing at the moment, however, she confessed that Inyanya is a special person to her and that she won't state categorically if he is the one she is seeing or not.

"I will not say anything on that because I don't say much about who I am dating or who I am not dating. I have even said a lot right now. I am in a relationship. I am happy and that is all I can say," she concluded.

She's known not to care at all about how people think about her. We are even of the thought that,  she does what she does for want of attention. But can we blame her? If this is the way for her to trek to stardom then it's her call. Some come into the world for some specific reason(s), maybe hers is to shock everyone, if the shock value is to her advantage, then more grease to her elbow. They say she's super rich with all her antics and what some have tagged shenanigans.

We are sure that if her stock is not attractive, we don't think she would have continued. She recently went on the social media again to release some outrageous and very revealing pictures, whether in good or bad taste, it's not for us to decide. For twitter to allow, it must mean it's not in violation of any code.

Check out a day in the life of Cossy, maybe the idea is to be Nigeria's own Rihanna or even Beyonce. The 2 superstars were recently on the covers of some magazines, in several stages of semi-undress, so if it's not a problem for them, why should it be for Cossy.

We are even of the thought that since she's been releasing such risque pictures her followership might have quadruple several times over.
